Founder of the capacity development and social enterprise domain Youth Art Initiative, Azeezat Ogunleti, in a post on her Facebook page has expressed her heartfelt appreciation following the successful staging of the just concluded Youth Summit in Jos Nigeria, where delegates from all walks of life residing within the region participated in the one-day capacity development session.

While specially acknowledging the vital role played by sponsors of the event and appreciating guests who despite tight schedules made it to the event, Azeezat noted that things are possible if resources are properly tallied with the right set of executing team or individuals. The founder equally — in her note — went on to highlight the position of optimism, calculated decisions and strategic planning in the achievement of real-life goals.

“Today again I realize how important it is to have the right set of people. One thing I am taking away from this is that people are our greatest assets. We cannot buy it. With God being on our side and the right network of people, the seemingly impossible thing can become possible.”

“First I’ll say all praise is due to Allah the Lord of the worlds who made the event to happen. My sincere appreciation goes to nHub for sponsoring us with their beautiful space. I remember sitting in front of Mr Longji (CEO nHub Jos) trying to convince him for the very-comfortable nHub’s space which we got Alhamdulillah at the end of the discussion.

“We all have that one special person who believes in us. My sincere thanks to Yonpan Dariem Abdullahi for being an amazing mentor, who shouldered the event like it all hers. I feel so indebted.

“To all our panelists; Eric Nanle, Dr Ahmed Sabo, Charles Dickson, and QT Mangvwat who out of their tight schedule made it a date with us to influence these youngsters. Your girl Zeezrin is saying thank you

“My shout out goes to my friends and family who contributed to the successful completion of the event, I love you all.

“My advice to the younger me, never believe anything is impossible! Be steadfast and have a strong conviction!

“It’s actually easier to create great Impacts with the right network of people. One thing we must not be afraid of doing is starting with what you have. You only need to start out and watch how things will unfold.

“Truly if we can’t do great things yet; we could do little things in a great way. We hope our delegates are charged and ready to pass on the baton. Our mandate is to transform minds and build the world.”
