Children who deserve parents by Muhammad Essa

There are two young brothers who live in my neighbors. They always come to mosque regularly for prayers. They greet me every day and their affection with me increases day by day.

On my way to home, I always greet them but I never saw their father at their home. I assumed that he might be at his work place or somewhere else.

The days passed by, still I didn’t see their father around. I got suspicious about his existence. One day, it was the Holy month of Ramadan (when Muslims fast), at Magrib (evening prayer) time; I was on my way to mosque, and I saw a middle aged man smoking in front of their home.

When I went close to that man, he resembled to one of those two brothers. I also heard the voice of their younger sister who was calling him father. I noticed that man was not having any intention to pray.

Meanwhile, his sons came out for prayer.

Since that day, I felt that parents also need proper counseling to be good parents.

This is the story of every second house, no matters what their religion is.
