A renowned scientist of century Elon Musk explored new techniques to connect human brain to a computer, according to sources of NeuraLink; he did that experiment successful on monkeys, then he requested US regulators to start trailing its device on humans.
The aim of the firm is to find ways to stimulate the brain in paralysed humans to allow them to control computers those who have severe neurological condition which he declared as a future of “superman cognition”.
According to the study, a hair like tiny probe which contains more than 3000 electrodes can monitor the activity of 1000 neurons.
Mr. Musk said, “It’s not like suddenly we will have this incredible neural lace and will take over people’s brains”, he added in his presentation, “It will take a long time. It is surgically safer. The machine will mention what type stimulate we have to give it to patients.”
“But for those who choose it, the system would ultimately allow for symbiosis with artificial intelligence”.
Andrew Hires. Assistant professor of neurobiology at the University of Southern California tweeted that the company had “pushed forward” the best of existing lab technology.
However, it’s not bad to call Mr. Musk as an Einstein of present age.
Earlier Mr Musk had proposed that AI could rescind the anthropological race.
